What we publish

Each island profile covers population, connectivity, healthcare access, schools, residency paths by passport group, cost bands, and island-specific risks. Chain pages group archipelago context; compare pages show 2–5 islands side by side.

Sourced fields

Every displayed value includes a source name, source URL, and last-verified date. Official government or institutional sources are preferred. Researched fields use reputable third-party references and are labeled accordingly.

Passport filter

Residency rows filter by US, UK, or EU passport groups. EU is treated as Visa Waiver Program eligibility for ESTA-style entry; confirm your specific nationality against U.S. CBP rules before travel or relocation planning.

Compare disagreements

Rows where islands differ most are scored higher so readers can spot meaningful tradeoffs quickly — for example hospital access, school count, rent bands, or hurricane exposure.

Update cadence

Launch chain data is manually researched. Phase 2 adds change alerts for visa and school updates. Thin pages without sourced fields are not published.

Launch scope

Launch coverage: U.S. Virgin Islands (St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix) and St Lucia (single-island nation). Additional archipelagos follow the same schema as chains are researched.

Monetization (future)

Browse and compare stay free. Future revenue may come from clearly labeled partner referrals (immigration lawyers, buyer's agents) and optional paid family comparison reports. Rankings and sourced data rows are never sold.
